A Day for the Dogs at Toronto’s Waterfront

An estimated 3 million pets joined Canadian homes during the pandemic, and as people start to make summer plans, their four-legged friends are top of mind. Lucky for the canine companions, the Toronto Waterfront has some super-fun, dog-friendly activities.

Dog-friendly Pawfect Patios

There’s no better way to enjoy the waterfront than sipping a cold beverage and eating a tasty snack while taking in the view. The Toronto waterfront is home to four dog-friendly patios, including:

The Goodman Pub

Be sure to check out the Pawtio menu with tasty treats to keep your furry friend occupied while you imbibe.

Pie Bar

Enjoy authentic Italian eats and cocktails with a view that everyone, including our four-legged friends, will enjoy.

The Slip

This lakeside patio bar is the perfect summer hangout. With no reservations required and a capacity of over 500, there should be more than enough room for all guests and their furry friends. And with a full Pooch Picnic Menu complete with premium doggy snacks, pup-sized picnic blankets to make their stay comfortable and a selection of toys - the dogs will never want to leave!

Against the Grain

For another dining experience with a view, swing by Against the Grain. You can dine in or grab one of their picnics, and for an extra special treat, check out Harmonies by the Harbour and enjoy live music every Thursday from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.

Pet Pampering

Finally, before heading home be sure to check out  Cosmopawlitan Pet Boutique and Spa. Whether you are looking for the perfect pet accessory, some delectable dog treats or an updated summer ‘do, Cosmopawlitan has you covered.
